White Wine, Flygirl White
During World War II, an airbase was established at the foothills of the Rattlesnake Mountains. After the war, it was sold to the Miller Family. For four generations, the family has farmed the surrounding area using the old airbase as their farm headquarters. Wine grapes were planted at Airfield in 1968, and the family has been perfecting its craft ever since. Winemaker's Notes: This wine pays tribute to the Fly Girls of WWII. With a fearless commitment, these female pilots transported military aircrafts from the factories to the airfields. This signature white blend has a fruit-forward bouquet leading to flavors of pear, melon & tropical fruit. Enjoy with lighter fare, such as salad, pasta, seafood and poultry. airfieldwines.com.
