Albertsons Chocolate Chip Cookies

Did you know that the beloved Chocolate Chip Cookie was actually an accidental invention?

It’s true!

It all happened in 1930 when Ruth Graves Wakefield (Whitman, Massachusetts), well-known for her delectable desserts, ran out of baking chocolate. She improvised by chopping up a block of semi-sweet chocolate expecting it to melt and disperse like regular baking chocolate. Instead, the chocolate pieces retained their form, softening to gooey-gooey goodness, and wah-lah, the first known chocolate chip cookie was born!

Here’s to the anom-nom-nom-alies. 😀

We no longer have an Albertsons in San Angelo, Texas and would like to know where we could order Albertsons Chocolate Chip Cookies. They are the best!

Joe, stop by your local United supermarket, as many of our products are being introduced there! We will notify our Buyers that you wish to purchase these cookies, as we unfortunately do not offer mail order outside our established grocery delivery areas. -Rebecca

Are there any retailers in the Melbourne, FL area (32940 Zip code) that carry Albertsons chocolate chip cookies?

They’re a favorite in my family, but the Albertsons near us have closed.
