    This game is a joke. There are not many winners and there is a lot of work on the customers part for no return. It’s to the point where it just makes me angry and is an insult. You should be ashamed to promote this farse.

    Here is a request for improvement on your process for entering to check winning tickets.

    . Request that the previous results of the winning ticket be cleared. This would help to see if the results are the results of the new entry. This is most beneficial if a winner is entered incorrectly. Fat chance, right. But just the same it could happen, often.

    . Also in your history, it would be nice if the numbers are displayed with formatting as shown on the ticket. Easier to read.

    . Not sure if this is a worthy suggestion; but, it would be nice if the tickets could be stapled to the print-out; rather than having to glue or scotch tape the ticket.

    Greetings, Contest Managers.
    I regret contacting you under these circumstances. I am having trouble ‘logging-in’ on the website. The log-in page ‘REFUSES’ to accept my password. I created a password, and was told that it was ‘accepted’. Then when I tried to use that password to ‘log-in’ to the site, I’m told that the password is ‘INCORRECT’.

    If it wouldn’t be too much trouble, could you please render some assistance.

      Hi Jessica, the game runs from February 4th, 2015 to May 19th, 2015 or until stores run out of game pieces. All potential winners must be presented in person to the Customer Service Center in any of our stores on or before June 9, 2015. As of right now the website is up and operational so you should not have an problems entering codes. Please view the FAQ at for any further assistance. ~Thomas

    i am playing this game and i have so many of the same game pieces and i shop a lot a Albertson’s i am trying to win anything but i live in Oregon and shop in both Oregon and Idaho so see if i can become a winner of some sort of prize.

    When is the end date for the sweepstakes going on right now?? I’ve been collecting some pieces and I was told it ends tomorrow. Is this true?

      Hey Cassie, stores will be handing out game pieces for Monopoly until is May 19th, 2015 or until the store runs out of game pieces. You do have until June 9th, 2015 to turn in any potential winners to your store’s local customer service desk. Have a great day! ~Thomas

    Hi, I have been trying to get in to check my tickets and no matter what I do I cannot get it. I tried to put in a new password and that did not work. Then it tells me that my e-mail address is wrong. I am getting sick of the whole thing. I got into the last monoploly game you had before and did not have all this trouble

    I love this game! This is the only game I participate in. I gather up my game pieces, spread out the “monopoly board”, pour a glass of wine and start planning what I’m going to do with my winnings 🙂 In the past, I’ve won several small prizes-its the thrill of the win, not always the size of the prize (although the 1m would be nice) Thanks Albertsons!

    I am trying to login as a new customer on the website, and it will not allow me to select the state, city, or store. I can select Albertson’s, but when i drop down on the the other three questions nothing comes up. Please help!

First you can make sure your browser is updated to the most recent version, as the game is not supported by older browser versions.     i already got some redbox video rentals and a $50 gift card to turn in. i’m still hoping for some rare pieces. this year a few of my coworkers and i are collecting together. we hope to get the big money 🙂 but already happy we won what we have. i love albertsons and even if didn’t have monopoly this is my store!

    I can not even get into site to check my numbers. It keeps telling me login is incorrect. I have reset and continues. I tried to sign in as a new player that at the end asks me to check a box I can not even see. dark blue/ black background not very smart for a design. Don’t know what to do or what a solution is, at least on my end. Dissapointed to say the least.

    So I was reading the game rules… and it says under 2. To Play: “…Do not affix game markers to the game board (with glue or tape) in a permanent manner.”

    Yet it does not explain why we cannot do this, because I’ll tell you, I tried to affix the game markers to the game board by licking the back (because it says to ‘moisten’ the backs and I figure it’s like envelope glue) and yet they did not want to stay stuck to the game board at all. I had to tape them down or risk the pieces flying off.

    I only taped the pieces at the top and bottom of the game marker, but why would the rules say “Do not affix game markers to the game board (with glue or tape) in a permanent manner.”

    What happens if you do tape the markers down to the game board?

    I hope sticking them with tape doesn’t disqualify the game ticket. Mine were falling off and so I taped them down with just a little bit of scotch tape.

    Also with the game cards some of them are coupons; for example 25c off Assorted Hershey’s chocolate. When do those expire?

      Hi Sarah, you should have no problem attaching the tickets with tape to the game board, but make sure you can remove the tickets in case you win. The coupon expiration dates should be printed directly on the coupon towards the top in the middle. It is in smaller print though. Good luck and thanks for playing. ~Liralen

    It takes a long time to enter codes, print out winners, stick pieces to a paper game board and keep track of all the paper pieces. An app would be an excellent way to track codes and pieces. Obviously, the paper pieces would still be needed to claim a prize.

    It would also be nice if we could print a list of pieces needed for each prize.

    I have two questions:
    Why do two of my tickets say “Not a valid code” when I enter them correctly over and over?
    And I have a winning ticket, but can’t find a “Customer Service Center” to redeem it. I live in the 91360 area of Thousand Oaks California.

    This game is a joke. I heard from a checker that Albertsons distributes the game pieces among the three chains owned by the parent company in a way that ensures that nobody will win the big prizes. The chains are geographically diverse so the chances are about ZERO that anybody would shop at all three.

There will be no competition between Albertson’s customers and customers from one of our other stores. The game tickets are distributed completely at random so there is no one that knows which store has which tickets, the only way to find out what game ticket is included is by opening it.     Seriously….I have played this game over the past couple of years and nothing…I asked the cashiers from multiple stores if anyone has won ANYTHING, and I get the same response…NO…So I’m just curious at this point to see if anyone does really win the bigger prizes….

    I think this is a scam I have been shopping a great deal and have still been missing the same numbers for a month the sales help said everybody seems to be missing the same numbers

    I have seen that there are two different color game pieces; black and blue. I have always only gotten the black pieces and am wondering when the blue ones are given out and what’s the difference? Thanks so much.

      Hey Jessica, there are 2 separate games. The black pieces are for the associate game and the blue ones are for the customers. If you are not an associate of Albertson’s we would like to have you return those pieces to the store to exchange them for the customer version.     Hi my name is Jordan Neff and I have been playing the board game for over 3 years. I love the fact that you do let us play and give out such wonderful prizes. My biggest question is where is all of the branches that are just called Albertsons located. I am in Billings, MT? But I was also wondering if maybe you could do something for students that are still in school who go to the stores to get lunch and snacks during their lunch breaks? I was also wondering if maybe to represent the cancer foundations if the employees could wear aprons that have the cancer symbol on them? When I worked for you I had asked that and they said no, because we had to wear just the aprons that were provided to us. Sorry about asking these in here but I didn’t know how else to go about it.

    Customer Care, what do you mean there are two separate games? The black pieces are for the associates and the blue ones are for the customers. I’ve always been giving the black games with the black self-adhesive stick ons from the sales clerk. What is blue, the adhesive stick-ons?

    This game sucks!! I spend so much time opening the pieces, finding the placement, then to see I have to throw them away because I have THE SAME PIECES OVER & OVER!! Not playing anymore!! Waste of my time!! Can’t even win 5 bucks!

    I had an unpleasant experience with Albertsons today. I got 3 instant winner tickets (each winning 2 bonus game tickets). I approached one of the cashiers and he handed me the bonus tickets. As I walked out of the store, I realized he only gave me 4 bonus tickets instead of 6. I went back to the store to tell him he only gave me 4. He refused to give me 2 more tickets. He said I won 4 tickets only. I couldn’t prove to him my honesty coz he didn’t even check the number of instant winner tickets I gave him. He was serving a customer. It would have been better if he let me wait ’til he was done serving the customer and then he would check the no. of instant winner tickets I gave him. I left the store disappointed. I wasted bond papers and used a printer just to affix the original coupons– only to be cheated in the end.

    I am upset because one of the 12 digit online game entry codes from a brand new ticket, “had already been entered online.” Probably because someone ‘accidentally’ typed in the wrong code. Because I was not aware of how to proceed in this situation, I threw the ticket out figuring there was nothing I would be able to do with it. I hope it wasn’t one of the $1,000.00 gift cards, or even worse, the $15,000.00 cash prize winning ticket. Oh well! I guess because they don’t have the ticket whomever entered the code wrong isn’t a winner, either.

    Are the prizes evenly distributed among Shaws stores as well as Albertrsons? I have been waiting on certain pieces for EVER. And I hear that there aren’t many winners at our store. This is the second time I’ve played and didn’t win a thing. A couple of redbox videos and free yogurt. Do you guarantee all prizes are won.     I forgot to mention in my comment that I enter by mailing my codes instead of on line, because I just don’t trust putting certain things on line, and I don’t see anything about mail in entries or codes anywhere on the monopoly site.     Is there any stores with tickets left? I have 6 prize sheets from tickets last week and no one can re-deem them. I also have 146 extra misc tickets if anyone wants to do a trade for same.

      I’m sorry to hear that the stores you shop at has run out of Monopoly Collect & Win game tickets, LC. Unfortunately only a certain number of tickets are distributed at the beginning of the sweepstakes in correlation to the odds of winning. Towards the end of the sweepstakes, if stores run out, they are able to share with other neighboring stores, however that may not be possible if all stores in that area have run out.     This game is a waste of time. $.25 coupons and after opening 100’s of game pieces haven’t even won a $5 gift card. They need to make it worth our time by at least offering $1.00 coupons and having instant winners that aren’t just more game pieces I need to peel open for nothing. McDonalds hooks up free big macs and fries and all of that stuff on theirs, Alberson’s should try to do something similar, maybe a free 20 oz pop or something. Free banana.. something!

    It really is time consuming to fill out the game board. It seems like the last 3-4 weeks the game pieces just replicate existing #’s. I have winning tickets for free tickets from the store and on line and the stores are saying they are out.

    I platy every year. I put so much time and effort into it, and even have my friends who don’t play give me their game pieces in promises that I’ll share my wealth, or at least play a game of Monopoly with them, but I never win 🙁

    If you are going to quit handing out tickets May 19th then you should not print that instant winner games ticket awards expire on 6/9/15.

    So I won a free red box movie and after I played a few more tickets I went to print it and couldn’t find it on the history page. This game feels like a slap in the face. I played over a hundred online tickets and more of the game pieces. All I won was a red box movie 🙁 This is a sad waste of money for advertising. I’m not coming back as a shopper till things change. As in lower the price of hamburger and quit putting on fake contest. sincerely Katherine.

    Can I print a game board at home? I was never given one from my grocery store. I thought everything was done online. I have entered all of my codes but have not done the “game board” part because I wasn’t aware there was one until now.

    I won a few prizes this week, free grocery items, and $5.00 gift card, and a few Redbox movies tickets, thanks Albertsons!
    I have always shopped at Albertsons, when I don’t feel like cooking, the Deli is a good choice, and the specials are awesome, and so I feel like a winner even without the game.
    For all who won, congrats! For the disappointed, take those coupon tickets if you have a few or many and go shopping before the 19th! I know I will! And for the few that have thousands of pieces, don’t go crazy trying to win, just share those great coupons with your neighbors! Always look on the brighter side of tomorrow, beyond the rain…and look for the rainbow!

The second chance drawing takes place if none of the top six prizes are claimed by June 9th then a random second chance drawing will occur on or about June 19th.     I really don’t like this game at all. I have played it for several years and never won so much as a 5 dollar gift card. What I really don’t like is how time consuming it is and wasteful. You really need to come up with something else. I’m not playing it anymore.

    I wanted to submit instant winner Monopoly Game Tickets today (05/24/2015). Exp date on tickets says 06/09/2015. The teller told me they can’t honor my tickets because the exp date on the tickets were printed incorrectly. How do you run a competition with tickets that are printed wrong? I had my doubts about this competition from the start. I am so disappointed.

    I read on this list of comments that the black game pieces are for associates and the blue game pieces are for customers. Is this information correct? I am a customer of Albertsons in Elko, NV, and all I have ever received are the black game pieces.

    Hello, so when it comes down to the rule with gluing the pieces down to the board.. if you have done so does that disqualify the player piece? Why can’t you just cut them off the board after you have all the pieces together? Someone help me out!

      Sarah, per the Official Rules for the Monopoly Collect and Win Game, to claim a prize customers must initial the front of all Collect & Win potential winning original game markers of the Major Prizes in the lower right hand corner, transfer the original game markers to a new game board, and sign their full legal signature on the new game board, all in the presence of an authorized store representative who will arrange for verification. Potential Collect & Win Major Prize winners of greater than $200 must review prize materials, complete a High Level Prize form and move original game markers to a new official game board with an authorized store representative, who will provide information for the potential winner to send the prize form and game board to the Administrator for verification.     Are any of the online codes actual winners? In previous games, I would get a winner (usually for 2 additional game pieces) about every fourth or fifth entry. This series I’ve gotten nothing but the “sorry” response for over 30 entries. This is not worth my time.

    2016 Game-Total waste of time. I just opened about 200 of these suckers and got a few instant wins of 2 more tickets… seriously? You think that is a prize? And one pack of hot dogs. These 25 cent coupons are lame!! Then I checked a list for all the “rare pieces” and low and behold, all the same ones I do not have after wasting over an hour on this game. You are better off just printing off normal coupons and shopping smart and saving 25 bucks that way instead of 25 cents and nothing. Also when I have checked the website, it looks like one person has EVER won the million dollars back in 2011. What a scam.

    I had over 90 Fandango Tokens, over 40 Universal Tokens and 4 Gas Rewards won and before I could use them they all disappeared. This was on May 9th or 10th that they were missing. How can I get them back?
